As of February 12th, there are 83 Single Family Houses listed as available in Greenwich ranging in price from $1,295,000 to $49,500,000. Many of these have gone to contract but are not yet reported. With inventory so low, it obviously is a good time to list a property, and expect to get a good price based on demand. Come April and May, if demand has not been satisfied, there will be a lot of people who will not cast a wider net to go to surrounding towns. They will instead look to rent. Generally the highest rents are achieved when properties are listed between mid-March and mid June….with most of the inventory being available 60 days from the list date.
